2011 AIA Central Illinois Service Awards

The Central Illinois Chapter of the American Institute of Architects announces the 2011 Service Awards. This bi-annual program is held to recognize individuals who best exemplify the highest qualities of leadership and have contributed to the reputation of architecture through outstanding commitment and service to the profession, academics, and/or in the community.  Active members of the AIA Central Illinois Chapter are invited to submit nominations for review by this year’s distinguished jury of peers.

Submittals are due August 12, 2011 at 5:00PM CST.

Again this year will be an award celebrating the efforts by those outside our profession. The "Distinguished Citizen Advocate" Award is given by the American Institute of Architects Central Illinois Chapter to recognize and encourage distinguished achievements of allied professionals, clients, organizations, and others whose efforts have resulted in a significant and positive improvement to the architectural profession and/or the built environment. The determination of this award is made by the AIA Central Illinois Chapter Board of Directors.
