AIA Central Illinois announces recipients of 2011 AIA Central Illinois Service Awards. The awards program is held recognize individuals who have contributed to the reputation of architecture through outstanding service to the profession, education, and community. Active members of the Central Illinois Chapter were invited to submit individuals for review by a distinguished jury of peers from the Chicago Chapter. Additionally the board has added an award category for non-members who have benefited the profession of architecture. The Distinguished Citizen Advocate Award is selected by the AIA Central Illinois board.
